4The Plan: Believe that Jesus is the Lord God,  that He died for you, and that He conquered death in rising from the grave, and confess Him as your personal Savior.

Romans 10:8-13  But what saith it (the Word of God)? The word is nigh thee, even in thy mouth, and in thy heart: that is, the word of faith, which we preach; 9  That if thou shalt confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus, and shalt believe in thine heart that God hath raised him from the dead, thou shalt be saved. 10  For with the heart man believeth unto righteousness; and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation.  11  For the scripture saith, Whosoever believeth on him shall not be ashamed. 12  For there is no difference between the Jew and the Greek: for the same Lord over all is rich unto all that call upon him. 13  For whosoever shall call upon the name of the Lord shall be saved.

If you know and admit you are a sinner, and would like to be saved from sin and Hell, Jesus is waiting with open arms to receive you. He said, "Come unto me all ye that labor and are heavy laden and I will give you rest." (Matthew 11:28) The payment for sin is finished, the payment is paid in full. You just need to receive Him in faith, place your faith in Him alone as your only Way of salvation. John said, "As many as received Him, to them gave He power to become the sons of God, even to them that believe on His name." (John 1:12) Confess that Jesus is your Savior. Right now, He will save you.

What you need to know! . . .to go to Heaven
God has revealed Himself in the Bible, and then visibly/physically when He became flesh in the person of Jesus Christ. He reveals that He loves you, provided for you, and wants you to be saved.

Luke 19:10  For the Son of man (Jesus) is come to seek and to save that which was lost.
John 3:16  For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life.
2Peter 3:9 The Lord is not slack concerning his promise, as some men count slackness; but is longsuffering to us–ward, not willing that any should perish, but that all should come to repentance.
1. The Problem: We all have sinned.

We are separated from God because of our sin, and cannot go to be with Him in Heaven.
Romans 3:10  As it is written, There is none righteous, no, not one:
Romans 3:23  For all have sinned, and come short of the glory of God;
Sin is a transgression and violation against God's holiness and righteousness. We miss the mark that He accepts as righteousness.
2. The Peril: We die because of our sin.

Romans 5:12  Wherefore, as by one man (Adam) sin entered into the world, and death by sin; and so death passed upon all men, for that all have sinned:
Romans 6:23  For the wages of sin is death; but the gift of God is eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord.

The end of death is that unbelievers will go to Hell
Revelation 20:14,15  And death and hell were cast into the lake of fire. This is the second death. 15  And whosoever was not found written in the book of life was cast into the lake of fire.
3. The Provision: Jesus died in our place; Jesus is our substitute;

The Bible is clear that God demands payment for sin. The Bible shows that God accepts a substitute by the guiltless for the guilty. Jesus Christ is the guiltless "Lamb of God" for us, the guilty. He is our substitute. He died in our place. Jesus then conquered death, the penalty of sin, when He arose from the grave. It is a done deal. The price is paid and accepted! This means that we don't have to go to Hell for our sin. The work of Jesus is the "Good News," the "Gospel!" Jesus is "the Way!"

Romans 6:23  For the wages of sin is death; but the gift of God is eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord.
Romans 5:6  For when we were yet without strength, in due time Christ died for the ungodly.
Romans 5:8  But God commendeth his love toward us, in that, while we were yet sinners, Christ died for us.
If you confess the Lord Jesus Christ as your Savior, you will know for sure that you will have eternal life in Heaven with God when you die! When you call and confess Who Jesus is and your need for Him, you receive the Son, and are born again. You are born into God's family and will have eternal life.
1John 5:10-13 He that believeth on the Son of God hath the witness in himself: he that believeth not God hath made him a liar; because he believeth not the record that God gave of his Son. 11  And this is the record, that God hath given to us eternal life, and this life is in his Son. 12  He that hath the Son hath life; and he that hath not the Son of God hath not life. 13  These things have I written unto you that believe on the name of the Son of God; that ye may know that ye have eternal life, and that ye may believe on the name of the Son of God.

If you don't repent and believe on Jesus Christ, you will perish. If you believe and have confessed Jesus Christ as your Savior, you should let someone know. Please contact us, and we will send you some information to help you grow in your new life as a Christian.  info@smithcreekbaptistchurch.com
